Mollie Tuff (Under 10's) is about to take part in her third event of her year of fundraising for Farleigh Hospice. There are four official Hospice events throughout the year consisting of swimming, walking, cycling and running, and she plans to take part in each one.
The first event was swimming, this was the Rotary Club Swimathon at South Woodham Ferrers. Farleigh Hospice's team of 6 consisted of Mollie Tuff, Nikki Tuff (Ladies 4's), James Stock (former Chelmsford goalkeeper), Ann Stock (James's mum) and two other Hospice workers. The aim was to swim continuously for an hour. Mollie played her part and swam 22 lengths in that hour.
The second event was the Farleigh Hospice Walk for Life. Mollie and family successfully completed the route.
The third event is the Farleigh Hospice Cycle for Life. This is scheduled for this Sunday, 9th September.
The fourth and final event is the Farleigh Hospice Santa Fun Run. This is scheduled for Sunday 9th December.
To sponsor Mollie you can visit her Just Giving website and make a donation. Alternatively if you see her around the clubhouse she'll probably thrust her sponsorship form in your general direction anyway!
She has set herself a target of £500 for the yesr, and she has already reached over £350. Thanks to everyone who has donated either on-line or in person so far./
